About

My background is in social work and counselling with the hope of eventually embarking on a postgrad research program that will lead to that elusive PhD.

My primary interest is the experience of 'living fat' in the context of the current 'obesity epidemic' panic that is dominant throughout the Western world.

My general interests are related to women's life experience in the areas of health (physiological and mental), relationships, motherhood, spirituality, sexuality etc.

My studies have been conducted under my birth name rather than my chosen name and so Bri King won't appear in the alumi lists of any of the institutions I have studied at  but my qualifications are bona fide!
